Cool things I have done:
- Worked on adding a new chart prototype for our application using JFreeChart.
- Worked on a distributed emergency management decision support system.
- Dirtied my hands with development of a custom WMS server to serve GIS content, a custom client interface for GIS rendering and a PostGRES data to KML converter to export data to be readable on Google Earth.
- Implemented a module to generate web based charts for meteorological data
- Implemented a web caching functionality for the GIS front end to improve performance.
- Designed and developed a framework for document management of large XML document collections.
- Designed and Developed an efficient Indexing Engine using a unique and efficient algorithm.
- Designed and developed a web based platform to detect and cluster streaming real time data.
- Designed an effective clustering algorithm based on genetic algorithms.
